Harvesting on the implementation on the LWF gender policy

As we prepare towards the LWF Twelfth Assembly and to the Women’s pre assembly it is important to assess what has been done so far, regarding the implementation of the LWF Gender Justice Policy. The LWF GJP was approved by the Council in 2013, and by now, it has been discussed in all regions; 19 translations are in place by July 2016. There is a diversity of use of the text. There is a richness of implementation tools and contextualized discussions on going in the regions.

To analyse the process, WICAS has initiated a survey in order to see how the LWF gender policy has been incorporated in the regional and local processes. The women regional network, specifically the regional coordinators are responsible to disseminate this harvesting survey to the appropriate leaders and agents involved in the implementation.
